Roses, other horticultural production, and cattle and hay production accounted for most of the agricultural industry. Today, Tyler's manufacturing sector includes Tyler Pipe, a subsidiary of McWane Inc.; Trane, this plant was originally built in 1955 by General Electric; and Delek Refining, a Crown Central Petroleum subsidiary.
