History of UP Health System – Marquette Cancer Center

UPHS – Marquette Cancer Center is operated under the auspices of the UP Health System – Marquette. The hospital itself is a smaller facility with 307 beds and a staff of more than 200 physicians serving 9,000 inpatients and more than 350,000 outpatients a year.

UPHS – Marquette Cancer Center also collaborates and is affiliated with Duke Health, a leader in cancer treatment in the United States. This partnership enables physicians of the UPHS – Marquette Cancer Center to access all the cutting-edge research and novel treatment options coming out of the Duke Cancer Institute.

Marquette oncologists also serve eight communities throughout the Upper Peninsula region.
