Doctor Overview

Dr. Slaughter has been practicing medicine for almost two decades, after graduating with his medical degree in 1991. After graduating, he went on to complete residencies and fellowships to build his experience before coming to Indiana and working at the Franciscan Physician Network Oncology & Hematology Specialists Indianapolis.

Dr. Michael T. Slaughter specializes mainly in medical oncology with experience in hematology as well. He is a board-certified medical oncologist with an array of specialities, such as lung cancers, colon cancers and breast cancer. Dr. Slaughter’s research and practice has centered on cancer prevention, the diagnosis of cancers and the treatments of cancers and blood diseases.
