Burlington is a city in and the county seat of Des Moines County, in southeast Iowa. Another long-lived business is Case Corporation, which has been at its current location on Des Moines Avenue since 1937. The first backhoes rolled off the assembly line at its Burlington plant in 1967, which is now the only plant in the United States that produces the Case Loaders/Backhoes, giving Burlington the nickname "Backhoe Capital of the World."
