Mesethilioma
Mesethilioma is an often misspelled word by searchers on the Internet looking for information on the disease called "mesothelioma." Known also as asbestos cancer, mesothelioma is caused by exposure to asbestos.
At one point in time throughout the industrial revolution, asbestos was used extensively in industrial, military and residential buildings as a fire-proofing material. Workers responsible for the installation or repair of machines, floors, ceilings, roofs and more were often exposed to microscopic asbestos fibers that entered the air whenever the asbestos was cut or worked with. As a result, many individuals who unknowingly breathed in what was later found to be poisonous material were diagnosed with mesothelioma. Often this would be years later as the mesothelioma latency period can be 40 years or more.
Mesothelioma treatment can be obtained at leading mesothelioma cancer centers across the United States. The more conventional types of treatment involve chemotherapy, surgery and/or radiation therapy. These often have unpleasant side effects, however, and there are now a variety of alternative treatments that mesothelioma patients can use to counteract those unpleasant side effects.
