Lebanon, Pennsylvania

Formerly known as Steitztown, Lebanon was founded by George Steitz in 1740; it was incorporated as a borough in 1821 and became a third class city in 1885. Situated almost equidistant from Harrisburg, Lancaster, and Reading, Lebanon is the county seat of Lebanon County, Pennsylvania and home to just over 24,000 people. Since 1994, Lebanon has operated as a Home Rule Municipality under the Mayor/Council form of government. Lebanon City offers residents and visitors alike 10 parks, 6 playgrounds and walking paths to the residents of the city and surrounding area. Recently, the city has been recognized as the second least stressful city in the United States.
