Noblesville, Indiana

The city of Noblesville, Indiana occupies 19.1 square miles in the heart of Hamilton County and has served as the county seat since 1824. It is part of Delaware, Fall Creek, Noblesville, and Wayne townships. Situated just north of Indianapolis, Noblesville serves as a regional business, manufacturing and entrepreneurship hub. The city’s 3,600 acre Corporate Campus is home to such industries as the North American headquarters of SMC Corporation, Helmer Laboratories, and Perkins Logistics.

Noblesville was incorporated in 1851. That same year, the Peru and Indianapolis Railroad was completed through city, strengthening it economically and causing the population to grow. The city's first significant growth boom occurred in 1888 with the discovery of Noblesville's first natural gas well. Noblesville’s second significant growth spurt was more recent increasing its population from 28,590 in 2000 to 51,969 in 2010.
