With over three decades of experience in the field of lung cancer research, he has served as the Chairman of the Thoracic Committee for the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group. His most research has centered on the study of new chemotherapeutic agents for multi-modality therapies in the treatment of small-cell lung cancer.
