Dr. McCachren began his medical career by attending Duke University and then stayed to complete his Residency and Fellowship at the school. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology.
Dr. McCachren currently serves at the Thompson Oncology Group and is considered a specialist in the treatment of mesothelioma. The Thompson Oncology Group is a part of the Thompson Cancer Survival Center in East Tennessee.
