Educational Background
Dr. Slaughter attended the University of California and Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, graduating in 1991. He then went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at Jewish Hospital and a fellowship in medical oncology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. The M.D. Anderson center is dedicated to improving the prognosis for patients in all stages of lung and chest cancers, including mesothelioma.
