Misothilioma
Misothilioma is a misspelling of the word "mesothelioma." An aggressive and debilitating form of what is often referred to as asbestos cancer, mesothelioma strikes those who have been exposed to asbestos.
Developed when tiny, sharp asbestos fibers are inhaled and remain in the lungs and form tumors in the chest area, mesothelioma has been the subject of hundreds of thousands of lawsuits filed by mesothelioma attorneys worldwide as individuals who worked with the toxic mineral become sick and die due to on-the-job exposure.
A diagnosis is usually not made until the later mesothelioma stages are reached making treatment of mesothelioma difficult. There are various types of mesothelioma including peritoneal mesothelioma and pericardial mesothelioma. Treatments for the disease include mesothelioma surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation or a combination of all three. However, because of the disease's severity and long latency period, these therapies rarely provide relief for the victim. Instead, palliative treatments are generally recommended to keep the patient comfortable, and many asbestos victims die within just a year or two of being diagnosed with mesothelioma.Other common misspellings:
