Mesothelione
Mesothelione is a common misspelling of the word "mesothelioma." The main causes of mesothelioma are direct and secondhand exposure to hazardous asbestos dust. Mesothelioma cancer has been diagnosed in asbestos workers since the 1920’s though knowledge of mesothelioma disease was not widespread until the 1970’s.
In 1977, the U.S. government issued warnings about the use of asbestos, releasing information that indicated some companies knew about its dangers yet continued using the toxic mineral. The findings prompted hundreds of thousands of lawsuits to be filed against companies responsible for the exposure by mesothelioma attorneys.
Mesothelioma is a difficult asbestos cancer to battle and those who develop it generally deteriorate quickly and face a grim mesothelioma prognosis. Usually, mesothelioma treatment like chemo and radiation are recommended to slow the progress of the disease and to keep the patient comfortable.
