Menasha, Wisconsin
Located on the north west shore of Lake Winnebago and at the mouth of the Fox River, Menasha is a city in Calumet and Winnebago Counties. Menasha is located mostly in Winnebago County; only a small portion is in Calumet County. Home to just over 17,000 residents, Menasha offers a friendly, small-town atmosphere with access to major retail, arts, sporting attractions, and outdoor activities. The University of Wisconsin–Fox Valley, the second largest of the 13 campuses that make up the University of Wisconsin Colleges, is a two-year college located on 41-acres in Menasha.
Menasha is among the 19 cities, towns, and villages that form Fox Cities, which is the core of the third largest metropolitan area in Wisconsin; one of the nation’s longtime leading centers of papermaking and printing; and one of the 50 top manufacturing regions in the nation. The pillars of area's economy are the paper and packaging industries. Major companies in the industry include International Paper, Georgia-Pacific, Sonoco, and Menasha Corporation as well as companies such as, Pechiney Plastic Packaging and George A.
