Rock Hill is the largest city in York County, South Carolina and the fourth largest city in the state. Located 25 miles south of Charlotte along the banks of the Catawba River, Rock Hill is home to over 70,000 people. The Rock Hill community dates back to the construction of a railroad depot in the 1850s, but it was not until 1870 that Rock Hill became an official incorporated city.
