Situated on the Pennsylvania-Ohio line in the southwest region of Mercer County, 75 miles northwest of Pittsburgh, is the city of Sharon, Pennsylvania. Sharon was settled in 1795, incorporated as a borough on October 6, 1841, and incorporated as a city on December 17, 1918. The city has a population of more than 16,000 people and is part of the Youngstown–Warren–Boardman, OH-PA Metropolitan Statistical Area.
